This educational furniture manufacturer supplies computer desks to schools and needed an easy-to-install computer screen lift for the classroom. The desk was designed using Accuride's Ascent (CBLift-0019) and 2132 slides. The desk lid slides to one side using 2132 slides to give access to the Screen Lift.
Accuride’s push-to-open and close mechanical screen lift allows screens to be hidden and secured when not in use and keeps work surfaces free of clutter until the screen is needed. It does not require electrical power. With a light push down on the top of the support column, the lift rises easily in less than 2 seconds.
The decision to use the Ascent LIFT-0019 was based on its narrow profile, ease of installation, and reliability, especially for school use.
